About Skellefteå Hotel and Conference AB

We are a company with two hotels, affiliated with Strawberry and Best Western, owned by the Holmqvist family in Umeå. Our group includes a total of four hotels, with the others located in Umeå and Luleå. Your role as a property technician

As a property technician, you have a key role for both guests and employees. You are the hotel's face to the outside and are there when needed. You are responsible for handling fault reports, orders, inspections, maintenance, and rounds. Your work is planned in close collaboration with the hotel manager, owners, and other colleagues.

A typical week means that you handle fault reports in our digital system and have contact with tenants both on-site and via phone. You will also patrol our property areas to ensure that everything is intact, clean, and safe. Additionally, you conduct inspections and perform general maintenance. If necessary, you will order contractors and follow up on their work.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who loves to interact with people, is service-oriented, and always meets others with a professional customer approach. You are driven by creating comfort and trust, are proactive and solution-oriented, and have the ability to plan and structure your everyday life effectively.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• A few years of work experience in a technical/practical field related to properties.
• At least a basic understanding of property maintenance.
• Computer skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with digital systems.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written) and basic knowledge of English.
• Driving license B.

It is a big plus if you have:

• Knowledge of fire protection (and can be part of our local fire protection organization).
• Post-secondary education and/or work experience in property technology.
• Understanding and interest in energy efficiency.
• Previous experience in areas such as electricity, plumbing, or appliances.
